Joe Wicks may be stepping down from his online PE classes, but Charitable Travel and The Mintridge Foundation are stepping up!

Let's get physical!

Some exciting news this week as our client, the new social enterprise travel agency, Charitable Travel, has partnered with The Mintridge Foundation and Atlantic City USA. Their mission is to keep children active during the school holidays with the benefit of world-class athletes being on hand for advice on fitness and nutrition – all for free!

The Charitable Travel Weekday Wellness will comprise of live, online Zoom sessions every weekday from 8am. They’re hosted by personal trainer and Charitable Travel Wellness Ambassador Jenny Tomei who will put participants through their paces. This’ll include fun and flexible full bodyweight workouts for young people of all ages, abilities and physical capabilities. Perfect timing for kids still looking for that fitness fix as Joe Wicks has announced he’ll be stopping his morning PE sessions from July 22nd.

About the partners…

The Mintridge Foundation is a registered charity that boasts over 40 sporting role model ambassadors across a variety of disciplines, all dedicated to enhancing life skills in young people through sport. Whilst Atlantic City, USA, is a destination offering a wide range of sporting activities and a great fit for the initiative and its aim to celebrate the importance of active lifestyles.

The founder of Charitable Travel, Melissa Tilling, said this about the partnership: “We have clear objectives to support local communities and are keen to embrace the need to keep talking about wellbeing, whether in fitness, mindfulness or nutrition. Charitable Travel’s Weekday Wellness will provide families with easy, free access to a daily session, Monday to Friday, covering a work-out, warm down, stretches and advice about the relationship we all have with food”

The Charitable Travel Weekday Wellness sessions are already up and running and you can register here. Participation is free, however, those joining will be invited to donate £10 to The Mintridge Foundation to help support their work in communities across the country.
